iReal Pro is an Android app, so you buy and install it from the Google Play Store on your Chromebook, except on some older models. Google's guide to Android apps on a Chromebook covers installing, updating, and resizing them.

A keyboard works as it does anywhere else in iReal Pro. See External keyboard.

Saving and sharing files

Save songs, playlists, recordings, and backups to Google Drive, which appears in the Share sheet unless your Chromebook settings have disabled it. For audio you want to email, choose AAC.

A file manager app gives you somewhere else to save. FX File Manager, Solid Explorer, and Cx File Explorer all appear in the Share sheet, and let you save to the Chromebook's own Downloads or Documents folder, which uses up its storage. Files by Google, Google's own file manager, does not appear in the Share sheet (as of September 2025).
