Windows 11:
We have made some adjustments to the Android version of iReal Pro to better work on large screens, with physical keyboards and made it available at the
Amazon Appstore (direct link to iReal Pro's page there.)
Download the
Amazon Appstore from the Microsoft Appstore, sign in or create your Amazon account, then search for iReal Pro or use this
link.
Note: the Amazon Appstore is currently available in
these countries via the Microsoft Store.
Previous purchase: if you have previously purchased iReal Pro from the Amazon Appstore (for your Fire tablet or another Windows 11 computer) no further purchase is required to install again.
Please contact Amazon if there are problems installing.
Amazon AppStore information (about, compatible devices, eligible countries, downloading apps, Windows 11, problems, support, errors, cache, etc.)
Microsoft is still refining this implementation to support Android apps into 2023; we will release fixes and updates as needed.
IAP's (Blues and Salsa styles) are currently not available (Microsoft: coming 2023)
Import songs/playlists/backup on Windows:
You can import songs/playlists from the iReal Pro Forums.
Currently you can't import songs/playlists from Mail or Dropbox. (Microsoft is working on fixing this issue, due in 2023).
To transfer your songs from your existing device or backup, please use the Sandbox for now (this is temporary) using only this specific thread:
https://www.irealb.com/forums/showthread.php?28247-Windows-11-beta-testing-only
Please read the information in the first post before you upload. You need to be registered at the forum, sign in, then post to the thread. Forum upload information.
On your PC, open iReal Pro, tap/click on the Forums icon (Globe icon at the top of the Library), sign in, then you can navigate to the thread in the Sandbox. You will need to make a first (test) post to get approved, then can upload your backup or songs to download. (Make sure you delete after you have them imported.)
The Amazon Appstore and the Google Play Store are operated by separate companies, they do not transfer app purchases between each other.
Android emulator: (for example Windows 10)
The other option is to run the Android version on a PC using an Android emulator. We have users reporting good results with
Memu, and
BlueStacks; (others with LDPlayer 4 and Nox having no problems either).
We have a
tutorial but unfortunately we do not offer support when you're running the app with a third party app since we don’t have control over the other party’s app (see our Additional information link below).
(You would install the Google Play Store into the emulator if not already there.)
If you have previously purchased iReal Pro from the Play Store, make sure you are signed in with the Google account you used for its previous purchase so you can install iReal Pro for free.
Slow or older PCs will probably not run emulation software very well.
