The count-in settings live in the Mixer, alongside the reverb. Open the Mixer from the player controls, and scroll if you do not see them.
 
Duration chooses how many measures you get. 0 is no count-in at all. Auto gives two measures above 140 bpm and one below. Set the count-in volume separately, and pick the sound of each click.
 
Set Click 1 to Keynote and the count-in sounds the root of the song's key instead of a click, giving a singer a pitch to come in on. A song in D counts you in on a D, and it follows any transposition. (v2025.2 or higher.)
 
For a tuning note, make a one-bar song on the chord A5, set the tempo to 40, the count-in to 2 measures and Click 1 to Keynote, then play.
