Windows only (currently)

Restoring from a Library snapshot overwrites your whole library to a previous state, saving the current one so you can return if you wish.

Examples

  • recover a deleted song (not found in Trash)
  • lost a song somehow, need to retrieve it from your Song library
  • load a playlist which had songs in a specific order
  • want to revert to a previous edit of a song
  • need the original version of a song before your edits
  • recover an old playlist
  1. iReal Pro Settings > Utilities > Library snapshots > Manage Click to Restore from a Date/Time snapshot;
  2. Find the song or playlist;
  3. Share (choose iReal Pro format) so you can import it after reverting;
  4. Restore the snapshot back to now, then import

Share a song, chord chart (choose iReal Pro format)
Share a Playlist  (choose iReal Pro format)
Import

Library Snapshots does not constantly store every change as you edit and organise, but provides a snapshot of some previous date/times.
We still recommend doing occasional manual backups of your song library (share to email or a cloud service) in case of device failure or loss etc. (saving outside the app and outside your device/computer.)
