An odd meter can be felt more than one way. iReal Pro defaults to 3+2 for 5/8 and 5/4, and to 4+3 for 7/8 and 7/4 (v2024.4 or higher).

 

For the other feel, write it as text in the measure: choose it from the text dropdown, or type 2+3 or 3+4 directly. The marking holds until the opposite one appears.

 

For older versions, or for a division the markings do not cover, spell the meter out as consecutive measures. That is how you write 9/4, or 7/8 felt as 3+2+2 instead of the usual 2+2+3. Copy and paste makes the repetition quick.
