Pair an external, Bluetooth, or built-in keyboard with your device (v2024.4 and higher) and editing gets much faster. It works with an Apple Smart or Magic Keyboard on iPhone and iPad, with any paired Bluetooth keyboard on Android phones and tablets, and on Chromebooks and Android emulators.
Press Cmd-E (Ctrl-E on Android) to open the Editor, type chord symbols directly, and use the arrow keys and Return to move from one space to the next.
iPad. On 2026.2 and higher the key commands are listed in the top menu; swipe down at the top of the Editor to show it. On 2026.1 and lower, hold the Cmd key to see the list of shortcuts.
Chromebook. Press Tab or the Down arrow to select a song in the list, Enter to load it, and Space to play. Press Ctrl-F in the Song Library or a playlist to open the search box.
