Either click and drag over the bars you want to copy;

or use arrows to move to the space you want to start the selection from (or click it) then hold down Shift and use arrows to determine the selection area.

 

Then either use the common keyboard command shortcuts for copy, cut (etc.);

or use the Edit menu;

 

 

or right-click for options.
