To create a New Song, tap into the main Song list, tap the + button and
add title, composer, style, set the key (the key the chords will be in as they are entered) and select one of the templates:
- Blank: no bar lines added
- 32 Bars AABA
- 32 Bars ABAC
- 48 Bars
96 Bars
To add a new song directly into a new Playlist (it will also list in the Song library after saving).
iOS - Tap into a playlist, then tap the + button, choose New song, then follow the instructions as above.
Android 2026.6 or higher - Tap into a playlist, then touch the overflow menu (to the right of the search box), choose New song, then add song title etc. as above.
Android 2026.5 or lower - Tap into a playlist, then tap the + button, choose New song, then add song title etc. as above.
