A soft transposition changes the key you see and hear and leaves the chart itself untouched. Transpose a song from inside a playlist and that key is remembered for that playlist alone.

 

On iPhone and iPad, tap the chart to reveal the player controls, then tap the key to open the transposition grid. On Android, tap the key on the left of the player controls.

 

In the grid, an outline marks the song's own key and a filled key is the one you are hearing. The key stays highlighted in the player controls while a song is transposed.

 

The key in the player controls is always the concert key, the key a piano or guitar would be playing in.
