iCloud Sync keeps your songs and playlists the same across your Apple devices. Set it up on each device you want to keep in sync.
Before you start
- Back up your library on every device, just in case. See Backup (songs and playlists).
- On each device, sign in to iCloud and turn on iCloud Drive. iReal Pro stores its data in iCloud, so iCloud Drive has to be on, but the data does not appear as files in iCloud Drive.
Turn on iCloud Sync
- iPhone or iPad: open iReal Pro's Settings (the cog wheel at the top of the Song Library) and turn on iCloud Sync.
- Mac: choose iReal Pro > Settings (Preferences) > Sync and tick iCloud Sync.
The first sync can take a while, depending on your internet speed and the size of your library.
Syncing more than one device? Turn on iCloud Sync first on the device with the most up-to-date library, and let it finish. Before turning it on elsewhere, delete the library on those other devices. If you skip this, iReal Pro merges each device's library with the one in iCloud, which can create duplicates you then have to remove by hand.
If your devices still show different libraries, see Troubleshooting - iCloud Sync stopped, slow, or out of sync.
