iReal Pro includes 50 accompaniment styles. Three optional style packs add more: Blues (12 styles), Brazilian (11), and Salsa (17). With all three, the app has ninety.

Buy a pack

Open the store inside iReal Pro.

  • iPhone, iPad. Settings > Style Packs.
  • Android. Settings > Store.
  • Mac. The iReal Pro menu > Store.
  • Windows. Settings > Store.

You can also go straight to a pack by clicking the locked style in the style menu, the one marked with a cart.

Each pack has a Preview button, so you can hear its styles before you buy. A lock marks a pack you do not own yet, and it disappears once the pack is yours.

Where the purchase is actually made

That depends on how you bought iReal Pro.

  • iPhone, iPad, Mac from the Mac App Store, Android, Amazon. The pack is an in-app purchase through that store, so be signed in with the account you bought iReal Pro with.
  • Mac bought directly from us, and Windows. The pack is sold through our own store, and the Store screen takes you there with your license email already filled in. There is no second license key to enter, because the pack attaches to the license you already have. Restart iReal Pro once after buying and the styles appear.

A pack belongs to the store you bought it from, so it cannot be transferred or shared between iOS, macOS, Android, Amazon, and Windows. See Buy iReal Pro and use it on your devices.

Use a pack on your other devices

You are never charged twice. On iPhone, iPad, Android, Amazon, and the Mac App Store version, sign in with the account you bought with and choose Restore Purchases in Settings. On a Mac bought directly from us, and on Windows, activate with your license key using the same email address, and the packs unlock on their own.

Where the new styles appear

They join the style list in the player controls, grouped under Blues, Brazilian, and Salsa, below Pop.

If you cannot see them, quit iReal Pro and open it again. Check too that you are looking at the style list in the player controls, and not the style name written on the chart, which is a different thing. See Accompaniment styles.

What each pack needs

  • Blues, 12 styles. iReal Pro v8.0 or higher (August 2017). macOS 10.10, iOS 9.3.5, Android 4.4, or Windows 10 (iReal Pro v2026.4 or higher).
  • Salsa, 17 styles. iReal Pro v2022.2 or higher (March 2022). macOS 10.13, iOS 14, Android 6, or Windows 10 (iReal Pro v2026.4 or higher).
  • Brazilian, 11 styles. iReal Pro v2024.10 or higher (November 2024). macOS 12, iOS 16, Android 8, or Windows 10 (iReal Pro v2026.4 or higher).
